Argentina
Come explore one of the finest counrty of the World- Argentina. Argentina
is the second largest country in South America. Geographically it can be
divided into four main areas: the Andes, from the high plateau north of
Salta down to the glaciated region in the Patagonian south; Mesopotamia, the
flood plains of the river systems that eventually emerge in the River Plate.
Barbados
Barbados is the most eastern island in the Caribbean, and is a tiny dot on
most world maps with an area of 430 square kilometres. Barbados has a
population of about 260,000 - which is quite high considering its size.
Bolivia
Bolivia is known as the Tibet of the Americas, the highest and
most remote of the countries in South America. It is a landlocked country
with two Andean mountain ranges binding the Altiplano, or High Plain,
between them. This plain has an altitude ranging from 9,000ft to 13,000ft
(3,000m to 4,000m) and is where the majority of the population live.
Brazil
Brazil shares a border with almost every other country in South
America--only Chile and Ecuador are untouched--and covers almost half the
continent. It is the fifth largest country in the world, behind Russia,
Canada, China, and the U.S.A., with an area of eight and a half million
square kilometers.
Chile
Chile is situated in South America, bounded by Peru, Bolivia, Argentina,
the Antarctic and the Pacific Ocean. Home of the Andes mountain range, it is
a thin ribbon of land, 4200km (2610 miles) long and nowhere more than 180km
(115 miles) wide. Arica, near the northern border with Peru, is an excellent
tourist centre.
Colombia
Columbia is located in the center of South Carolina at the junctions of
Interstates 20, 26 and 77. It is South Carolina's most populated city, the
state capital, the county seat of Richland Country . It is the home of the
University of South Carolina's main campus, and the site of the South
Carolina State Fair every October. Part of Columbia also extends into
Lexington Country.
Cuba
Cuba is the largest in a group of Caribbean Islands known as the Greater
Antilles and is the 15th largest island in the world. The Cuban nation is
situated 90 miles south of the United States state of Florida.
Ecuador
Ecuador is a tourist paradise. Its beautiful beaches, ancestral cities,
snow-covered mountains, the majesty of the Amazon rain forest, and the
Galapagos Islands -a true natural laboratory - are only a few of the many
attractions that this small yet grand country offers. Ecuador is one of the
most mega diverse countries of the world.
